Badmaash Company, the latest Shahid Kapoor flick and Yash Raj Films production, marks the directorial debut of Parmeet Sethi, the actor who played the role of the villain in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. This film is about four friends who con people to become rich fast. Just like the four friends find loopholes in the system, the story itself had loopholes but it was interesting nonetheless. The movie had a lesson that there are no short cuts in life and if you use your intelligence towards the right rather than wrong reasons, you will be successful.
The well-portrayed roles by the cast that included Anushka Sharma (from Rab Ne Bana De Jodi fame), Vir Das, Meiyang Chang, and Anupam Kher in addition to Kapoor, and a well-written screenplay by Sethi made the movie an enjoyable and entertaining experience. I recommend it especially for Kapoor fans and I look forward to future projects directed by Sethi.
