Yes Noah Baumbach, I want my time and money back because Greenberg, the film that you wrote and directed outright sucked!
This low-budget, pointless, slow, and depressing film with an abrupt ending is about an angry 40-year-old man, Roger Greenberg, played by Ben Stiller. Roger's misplaced anger comes from his youth when he turned down a record deal and destroyed not only his career but also the music career of his band members. And even though he is in his 40's now, he has not been able to fully move on with his life like his band members and find a purpose in life. He has turned into this cynical, bitter, aimless man who has OCD. He meets Florence, his brother's assistant, while he is house sitting his brother's house in LA. Florence is a young, insecure woman, who has a weird sense of style. Even though Roger insists on treating her badly, she is still drawn to this weird man. Soon he realizes that he has also developed feelings for her.
Greta Gerwig, who plays Florence, was awful in the movie. And why does Ben Stiller insist on doing weird movies like this one and The Heartbreak Kid is beyond me!
Don't even bother watching this awful movie on DVD as it is a complete and utter waste of time and money.
