Kick-Ass Definitely Kicked Some Ass!

Kick-Ass, directed by Matthew Vaughn and based on a comic book with the same name, is a film about an ordinary teenager, Dave Lizewski, who sets out to become a superhero so he can make a difference in the world. On his quest to become a superhero called Kick-Ass, he meets a father-daughter duo called Big Daddy and Hit Girl, who also don't have any special powers like Kick-Ass but are better trained superheroes than him. They then form a team to bring down the evil drug lord, Frank D'Amico. Why do they want to bring down the drug lord? Will they succeed in their mission? Watch and find out.

This action-packed comedy will keep you on the edge of your seats till the end. It has some great action sequences, especially by Hit Girl, played by 13-year-old Chloe Moretz, who does a remarkable job and is most definitely the highlight of the movie. Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass, Nicholas Cage as Big Daddy, and Mark Strong as Frank D'Amico also deserve a special mention for their well-portrayed roles. The screenplay by Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn was excellent. Even though the story has been told before, the twist to the story was funny and interesting.

This movie is by far one of the best comic book movies ever made! It was much better than I anticipated. I highly recommend it as it is worth every penny spent! Don't wait for the DVD to come out, go watch it in your nearest theater.
